Mohegan Sun Casino	Take a day trip to the second largest casino in the United States! The Mohegan Sun in Connecticut is just 5 hours away and this bus trip from Kutztown is only $35. You then receive $40 worth of rebates to use at the casino! The casino is also home to many restaurants, shopping areas and a fabulous spa. This is a first come first served bus trip, meaning you show up at the Kutztown terminal and buy your ticket then. No reservations. It leaves every Tuesday. Directions to the terminal: Take 81 north to 78 Take exit 40 off rt 78 At the end of the ramp turn left on to rt 737 Go 6 miles on rt 737 until you see a huge white funeral home on your right Turn right at the very next rd, Wentz Rd Go to the first stop sign and turn left on to White Oak Rd Go 1 block and turn right on to Fair Street and the Bieber Terminal
Cabin Rental in Virginia	This may be more of a weekend getaway since it takes about 7-8 hours from the Harrisburg area to get to this beautiful secluded cabin high in the Appalachian Mountains in Southern Virginia. It's not hard to get to since it's not that far off RT 81 South and it's only $75 a night! It's so peaceful that you'll be able to forget your worries while you are there. Plan ahead and book a fall foliage trip to relax and take in nature. This link has directions and things to do in the area.

Darlene hosts wonderful Murder Mystery Weekends, Holiday Packages, and Romantic or Family time away from the chaos of the real world. Enjoy a night in one of her unique rooms followed by an enjoyable breakfast or brunch! We loved it and I'm sure you will too!
Shoop's Farm	Take a horse drawn buggy or sleigh ride through the country side with family or friends. Or add a picnic in the woods and make it a romantic outing for 2! My husband and I treated ourselves to a sleigh ride on Valentine's Day and had a wonderful time. Owners Fred and Sue are special people and being invited in to their home for hot chocolate and cookies after a beautiful sleigh ride made the trip all the more delightful. We look forward to enjoying a spring carraige ride through the woods and over the bridges to our own picnic(lovingly cooked by Sue!).
Ricketts Glen State Park	This is a park for the hardy hiker with trails that travel past beautiful water falls. You can also rent a cabin or camp for the night.
Hot Air Balloon Rides	Now this is an adventure! Reserve a ride over Amish country in Pennsylvania.
Intercourse, PA	This charming town is in the heart of dutch country and you could spend all day going through the shops. Just down the road is the town of Bird In Hand and between the 2 towns you'll find plenty to do all day. It's much more fun on the back roads than in the chaos of route 30 Lancaster. Don't forget to stop at Mount Hope Gallery to sample some of Pennsylvania's wines!
